Trish_Kean_v1_small_P1000158Trish is a graduate of Dr. Louisa Silva’s ground-breaking Qigong for children with autism program. While studying with Dr. Silva, Trish worked closely with several families for a period of five months. Results were incredible. Parents reported that several children experienced “first words” while undergoing the program. Severe intestinal issues that many of the children had suffered were improved or completely eliminated. Families noted that aggressive behavior and tantrums in their autistic child decreased dramatically. Several children were able to enroll in school for the first time. “The results we were getting were unbelievable,” says Trish. “I knew I had to make this type of work my focus.”

Trish has over 18 years of experience as a massage therapist and has had a daily Qigong practice since 2005. In 2005, Trish joined Master Wu’s lifelong training program and since then has participated in intensive Qigong training sessions with Master Wu several times a year. During these sessions she has learned many styles of Qigong as well as Qi healing techniques and internal alchemy meditations. In 2011, she was accepted into Master Wu’s first US-based teacher training program and became a certified teacher of the Wu and Hidden Immortal lineages. In 2011 and 2014 she also went to China to connect more deeply with the lineage Qi and study DaiShiXinYiQuan with Master Wu and Grand Master Zhao.

Trish has had a private practice offering Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Craniosacral work since 1996. In addition to her high-level work with Dr. Silva and Master Wu, Trish has studied formally at Berkeley Institute of Acupressure and Portland’s East-West College of Healing Arts. Patients are referred to her by physicians, physical therapists, and holistic medicine practitioners across the Portland metro area.
